The first annual ATX Fest took place on April 27th-29th at the Paggi House in Austin, Texas.
Among an enclave of oak trees and terraces, Artists and fans from across the country enjoyed live music ranging from jazz and rock to funk, jam and blues. The festival produced good art, good food, good people, good tunes, and good times.
For one weekend in April, the historical Paggi House building was transformed into a live music destination playing host to 19 bands from across the United States, dozens of artists and vendors, and hundreds of music fans.
This is the ATX Podcast Series, and this, is their story.

[b:18df5e72f6]iPod Traveller Documentary[/b:18df5e72f6] takes listeners on a journey of discovery. Nick Hall retraces the journey of his Grandfather, Ernest Hall, as a prisoner of war captured in Libya in 1942.
The series will be returning to the ex-prison camps from world war two, to see if and what still remains of them and what has changed in the last 60 years. Over four months, the documentary notes will lead to a feature film about the journey.

As more and more people are seduced into believing they are budding Spielbergs and take the plunge into the dark abyss of film making, few stop to think about what they might be getting into. This program looks at what it is to be a filmmaker and why people should ask themselves a lot of questions before getting involved.
Charles Tashiro is an independent filmmaker and scholar who has taught at the University of Southern California School of Cinema Television, the University of Amsterdam and Ithaca College. A former producer for the Criterion Collection, his film and multimedia work has been exhibited in Mexico City, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, Ann Arbor and other venues. He has published in film journals such as Film Quarterly, Screen and Cinema Journal.
